Blood Promise Spoilers & Speculations #1

The book so far is rather awesome I have to say. Im up to chapter 13 at the moment but because my sister is a pain in the butt she already kinda told me the ending.

Has Rose run into Dimitri?

No but she has run into his family...she has also run into a married Moroi and Dhampir who have the same connection as Rose and Lissa. You see parts of Lissa\'s life back at the academy and there is someone new to keep her happy...Kind of like Rose but Moroi and a little more wild.

I love Dimitri\'s grandmother, you are gonna love her and his family is brilliant. Rose speaks to the Dhampir which is married to the Moroi and he says to her:

\"Why dont you get her to heal the evil out of you?\"

If you think of \"her\" as Lissa and the evil as the black aura Rose has around her you kind of understand what he is saying...That leads to one theory that was said about Lissa healing Dimitri.

But, ah ha! Yes, Lissa needs to heal him.

does his family accept Rose? sees in her someone more than just dimitri's student?

Rose tells them about Dimitri though not at first. When she does they hold a funeral for him, made me cry that bit.

She doesn't tell them that they were more then Student/Teacher but they all know that she was together with him.

His grandmother makes Rose carry boxes full of bricks 2 hours walking to make sure she was worthy to be with her grandson. Like I said love the lady. They offer Rose to stay with them after the funeral, say she is practically apart of the family and she would fit in there.

My sister did say this to me though....Dimitri doesn't die nor is he healed by the end of the book. Rose has to go back to Lissa and try and figure out how Lissa can heal Dimitri before he turns up to fufill his promise to kill her.

I am not sure what that means as I haven't read that far.....but I can see what the next book will entail.

On Lissa's part, she whinges a lot about missing Rose etc but she also grows some balls. She at the moment 13 chapters in is sick of the Queen telling her to do this and that. She also had the new Moroi (Avery) asks if her and Adrian were together, because the queen had said they were...Avery is the love interest for Adrian in this book.

Aw, Dimitri wants to kill her?
But, im glad she is gonna try find out if Lissa can heal him.. i sure hope so.
I guess thats what the next book will be about, healing him...

I wonder if she does, would this mean Dimitri would be bound to Lissa too? Like Rose is, hah.

And Yes Adrian has a love interest. takes him out of the equation for Rose.

yes finally Adrian will get some and leave Rose alone


and of course they know they were together.. and they don't judge right?

No they see her as a widow whose love has just died. It is funny because the only way Rose tells anyone about it is when she is drunk after the funeral and she tells Sydney the Alchemist.

There is also someone called Abe. He is a Moroi but he isn't a royal. He like runs a business of legal and illegal dealings. Apparently someone sent him to look for Rose (my guess Dimitri) and he keeps telling her to get out of Dimitri's home town or she will regret and all this jazz. It is rather interesting.

Ah, interesting.
I'm surprised he hasn't seen his family yet.. i'm a little scared of what he may do, if he does.

what does she exactly say when she gets drunk

She just kind of talks about Dimitri and is like "you know I was more then his student" and Sydney is like "we know"

Then the next morning Rose has a massive hangover and Dimitri's grandmother comes in and kicks the bed until Rose gets up, then makes her carry a load of boxes (some with bricks) all the way across town to make sure she is worthy of him.

That is where she meets the Moroi and Dhampir who are married and have the same bond as her and Lissa.

Adrian visits Rose in her dreams but the last time he did...they got into a massive fight and he tells her he is never coming back to visit her.

Adrian is still doing that? I guess to make sure she is okay, but still.. invade of privacy.

Yeah he does it to make sure she is alive and is currently teaching Lissa how to do it as well. So I am expecting a visit from Lissa soon.

There was one funny story his family tell at his funeral. Something about Dimitri wanting to play with his sisters and they said the only way he could play was if he married their dolls. So they spent hours dressing him and the dolls up in different outfits and made him get married to their dolls. I think they said he was married about 10 times that day. That made me laugh.

His sister is awesome Viktoria and his mum is so sweet and kind. His grandmother I love to pieces she is brilliant.

Anyways I am off to bed for now. Ill be back tomorrow with more info hopefully

So I only managed to get through 3 chapters today because of the kids. I dont like Dimitri's sister Viktoria anymore....Rose tried to save her from sleeping with some Moroi who:

1. As soon as Viktoria left this guys side he was hitting on Rose
2. He got Sonya (Dimitri and Viktoria's sister) pregnant already

After she managed to stop them from having sex Viktoria told Rose she wasn't apart of the family, that she wasn't worthy of Dimitri etc etc etc. She was a beep.

Rose has now met up with 3 Dhampir guys who are taking her to another city in Siberia..They are rogue Strigoi hunters, and after the argument with Viktoria, and Yeva (i think I got it right, that is Dimitri's grandmother) tells her she had a dream of Dimitri being killed by Rose she decides to go with them....Might I add Yeva has dreams of the future that for the most part come true, kinda of like Alice in Twilight but her visions only come when she is asleep.

Aww, i do believe..Rose won't be able to kill him..
She'll try find another way to save him
Aka, getting Lissa to heal him

Ugh i dont think i'll like Viktoria either, talk about ungreatful.

Oh I forgot to mention Lissa turns into a prissy bitch again and starts saying Rose is being selfish for leaving her.

Apparently Rose's mum offered to be Lissa's guardian when she leaves school but the Queen has already chosen who she wants so they can keep an eye on Lissa and make sure her and Adrian end up together.

Mia makes an appearence and stands up for Rose.

Well I know that Rose doesn't kill him in this book, not sure what happens. All I know is she has to find a way to heal him before he shows up to kill her....At the end she apparently is praying he doesn't show up to soon and gives her a bit of time to figure it out so she wont have to kill him this time.

Oh Lissa, what the hell.. And here i thought she might get better in this book, not worse.

She just complains alot and goes from "i miss Rose" to "She is so selfish for leaving me alone"

It is a pain. Lucky Rose has only been in her mind about 6 times in the last 17 chapters

OK sorry for the double post but I just finished reading the book. OMFG I was in tears and laughing at bits. There is a bit in the book that I am going to post here. Rose gets a silver stake sent to her and Lissa is all "who would send you a stake"...This is what was with the stake:

You forgot another lesson: don't turn your back until you know your enemy is dead. Looks like we will have to go over that lesson again next time i see you - which will be soon.

I laughed so hard when I read that and I dunno why. I wont tell you where that bit is exactly but it just made me laugh

I don't know whether to laugh or cry at that
And the *love* part. Aw.
So, Spirit Bound should be interesting

I forgot to add that Lissa gets a lot better through the book, Rose does something you would never expect and well there is some Rose/Dimitri love going on

Oh, good. Glad Lissa gets better. Because in the last book, she was pretty bad.
