| City of Bones Discussion  When Clary Fray witnesses three tattoo-covered teenagers murder another teen, she is unable to prove the crime because the victim disappears right in front of her eyes, and no one else can see the killers. She learns that the teens are Shadowhunters (humans who hunt and kill demons), and Clary, a mundie (i.e., mundane human), should not be able to see them either. Shortly after this discovery, her mother, Jocelyn, an erstwhile Shadowhunter, is kidnapped. Jocelyn is the only person who knows the whereabouts of The Mortal Cup, a dangerous magical item that turns humans into Shadowhunters. Clary must find the cup and keep it from a renegade sector of Shadowhunters bent on eliminating all nonhumans, including benevolent werewolves and friendly vampires | |

| i loved the first book!!!!!!! it might have been my fav hehe jace and clary were so cute it in it then valentine stepped in *pouts* but i loved being introduced to the whole shadow hunter world hehe | |

| I just started reading I'm loving it already Jace is kinda..well evil lol And i'm totally confused lol...what is Clary to Jace, and Luke is what to Clary, Jocelyn is something to Clary also as well as Jace..ugh, it's confusing | |

| I just finished the book *woot* I wasnt able to sleep until I finished it so now its like 3:30 AM and Ive been reading non stop for a few hours I loved the book, I love Jace and I adore Simon, he's arodkable and funny  The ending freaked me out and kinda pissed me off really but after looking around this board I found the answers I was looking for so now Im not so devestated. | |
