Welcome to the first "Night World" series discussion thread

Night World is a series of ten young-adult fiction novels written by L. J. Smith. The series takes place in a world similar to our own but one where vampires, witches, werewolves and shape-shifters live among humans without their knowledge. These supernatural races make up a secret society known as the Night World, which enforces two fundamental laws to prevent discovery: 1) Never allow humans to gain knowledge of the Night World's existence and, 2) Never fall in love with one of them.

Definitely on my list to read. I have the first 9 books (Three sets of those combined books)
maybe i'll read them after i finish this Vamp/Were series im reading.

My favourite books before I discovered the HP series, definately in need of a re-read though as its been 6 years, eek. I reallllly want the tenth book out like right now Very Happy

I'm still waiting for my bind up book from Borders. I've read up to The Chosen.

I don't have the money to get them yet and if I really want to read them, I'll just borrow from my friend since she has all 9 books.

Big W apparently has them now starting Thursday. I asked them today and apparently, it's exclusive to them and the guy told me that they are the only ones getting the series and they have very limited copies Sad

I really hope I can get my money back from Borders since I order the first one seven weeks ago and it still hasn't arrived Sad

Ive read so much lately i think i need a few days break, but im gonna try read more this weekend

ETA: Im looking through the BigW Catelogue, and i see it.. They are $12.95 each. (Damn, cheaper than what i paid for)

My friend is suggesting I just buy it and if Borders does have it, then I should bring it back to Big W and get a refund, but I don't know if that will work Sad

I'm thinking of just ringing Borders again on Tuesday and see what is happening if they haven't rang me by them.

I love the first book so much Very Happy

It's probably one of my favourites.

Yeah, that's the price that is in the catelogue. It's so much cheaper and I'm just so surprise that they having the books in, even though they are very limited Sad

I finished the last volume last night, its a good series.

The last book is avaliable April 6th

Im so excited its finally coming out :yay:

My favourite was the second one I think, the one with Ash, and then there was Chosen, that was the one wth Rachael right? I liked that one too Very Happy

and the three vampire sisters, Rowan, Kestrel, and Jade and the Chosen has Rashel in it.

They were my favourites when I first read them. I can't decide which one I like best.
